“Silver Tortie Tabby and White Maine Coon. I enjoyed meeting this large strong lady, though I am not sure that she returned the feeling, being aloof throughout, though perfectly civil. Head broad and strongly boned, square short muzzle well defined by the cheekbone prominence, very good tall spaced ears, tapered and held dramatically upright, furnished and tufted, with obliquely set, rounded green eyes. Softly curving profile from the brow, level chin and bite. Very large strong body, square of rump though it always seems ungentlemanly to be so personal about a lady, strongly boned limbs, tail of length to balance, reaching shoulder. Excellent coat with clear separation between top and undercoat, looked as if it would hold its own out of doors; gentle ruff and breeches, becoming silver tortie tabby (lots of silver) with correctly distributed white.”
